NOE YORKSHIRE, LANCASHIRE AND MERSEYSIDE SPORTING CHAMPIONSHIP.
Thanks to Coniston Shooting Ground for hosting the Yorkshire, Lancashire and Merseyside sporting championships. Another good turnout from the North Region shooters saw 140 entries contest the three county badges. Congratulations to M. Pennington for winning the shoot with an 87 and becoming Lancashire champion. Those left at the end witnessed a tense shoot off for the Yorkshire badge between Dave Kempley and Phil Rowbottom having both shot 84 with Phil just winning at the second attempt. Sadly there were no entries from Merseyside. Coniston put on a good shoot again for us and with the new clubhouse now open we have a fantastic facility in the North of England, lookout for more shoots here.
