Despite a lower than expected entry due to the icy conditions in the north of england around 40 guns turned out to compete for this first regional team shoot.

The low winter sun took its toll on some competitors on layout C, as the targets played hide and seek in the shadows, despite this Geoff Crossland on squad 2 took an early individual lead with a very creditable score of 100/297.

With the teams consisting of five men with the top three score to count the Yorkshire A team eventually took the honours, consisting of Chris Douthwaite 100/298 I Ainsley 99/296 and Paul Chaplow on 98/290 total 884/900 the other team members being Gerry Duffy and Steve Akers.

Second place went to the yorkshire E team of J. Thompson, A. Thompson A.Fowkes,S Cuthbertson & L.Taylor. 879/900

The veteran team was captained by G. Tidman with a score of 99/295 and J Hall, A Benson in support with a combined score of 862/900.

Chris Douthwaite took senior high gun with a score of 100/298 whilst Jack Thompson took the junior high gun with a score of 100/299.
