CPSA NORTH REGION COACHING PROGRAMME

COACHING FOR C, B and A CLASS SHOOTERS WISHING TO IMPROVE IN COMPETITION

Following the success of last year's programme, the Committee of the North Region has put together another series of workshops, to offer coaching to the Region's clayshooters, of any age, at very little cost.

The objective is to encourage the development of individual shooters and thereby, club and regional performance by offering high quality coaching, to motivated performers.

Coaching will be available in the ‘'English'' disciplines; DTL, Skeet and Sporting.

The format of the coaching is based on groups of five or six guns, working with a CPSA Senior Coach for a day of intensive training. The attendees will be asked to complete a questionnaire before the course, to help the coach structure the training, to give maximum personal development and feedback.

The workshops will normally take place at Spennymoor Gun Club with a meeting time of 09.30 for a 10.00 start and continuing until mid afternoon.
A light buffet lunch will be provided.

The only charge for this coaching will be £30-00, paid in advance to reserve the booking, to cover the cost of clays and refreshments during the coaching session.
You may apply for coaching in more than one English discipline, if you wish; £30 is payable per discipline session.
This charge is a modest increase from previous years, as financial support from CPSA HQ has not been made available this year.
Cheques should be made payable to CPSA North Region.

Please bring your own cartridges or purchase them at the ground.

If you are interested in participating in this coaching programme, please contact the CPSA
North Region Coaching Manager, giving your postal address and telephone number, when you will be sent the introductory questionnaire:- Dr Malcolm Plant 01347 888312 Malcolm.Plant@bigfoot.com
